    The youngest. Young, artistic, and passionate. Emotionally driven and sensitive to the supernatural; she represents the most spiritually attuned member of the Ashton line.

    Sandor’s sheriff. Haunted by moral choices and past love. Embodies grounded justice while navigating growing supernatural threats.

    Warrior-scholar and tracker. Brings indigenous mythos to bear on rising supernatural tensions.

    Powerful railroad tycoon. Publicly advocates for Sandor’s prosperity, but secretly manipulates town affairs to further his own economic and political aspirations. Note: In the far future, he becomes "The Conductor," a cryptic figure within the Underground, preserved by the Chessmaster. His tales of old Sandor add eerie depth to the future timeline.

    Local land baron with long-term designs on absorbing Sandor’s territory into his sprawling empire. Uses road agents and hired hands to provoke conflict, especially targeting the Ashton Ranch.

  • Abram Thorne

    Head of the Sandor Town Guard, Gruff, skeptical, practical to a fault. Initially dismisses the vampire rumors as superstition. Slowly drawn into the truth as evidence becomes undeniable. Once loyal to Edwin Bloodthorn for funding the guard, but becomes torn between duty and self-preservation.
